Born in Amchit, caza Jbeil, 18th of march 1946.
Married to Marie-Helene Rbeiz, and father of three children Chahid, Rana and Karim.
Completed his secondary studies at the "International College" of Beirut in 1965.
Graduated in 1969 from the American University of Beirut with two B.A degrees in Political science and Business management, obtained a diploma in insurance and reinsurance from the "Chartered Insurance Institute"-London.
Masters Arabic, French and English.
Occupied since 1970 numerous administrative positions in the economic field.
Founder and CEO of "Harbour : Insurance and reinsurance", since 1981.
Member of the board of directors of the BLC (Banque Libanaise pour le commerce).

Formerly
Founding Member of the Board of Trustees of the N.D.U (Noter Dame University).
Member of the Caritas-Lebanon, board of directors.
Member of the Central Commission of the Lebanese Red Cross .
Member of the General Maronite Council.

Presently
Member of the L.A.U (Lebanese American University), board of trustees.
Member of the World Alliance of Y.M.C.A's (Young Men's Christian Association) - Geneva.
Chairman of the League of Y.M.C.A's in the Middle East- Cairo and the secretary general of the Association in Lebanon.
